The cell broadcast public warning system would be used to notify the public of extreme weather events. rte.ie/news/2026/0603…

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews I wasn’t referring to past food production - I was referring to future production in a warmer world 🤦♀️
English

There is an 80% chance of the warming El Niño phenomenon developing between June and August, increasing the risk of extreme weather events, the World Meteorological Organization has said rte.ie/news/world/202…

@d3301rl @Conor_Maher @rtenews thelancet.com/journals/lanpl…
This study has shown that cold related deaths account for over 90% of all temperature related deaths from 2000-2019.
Sounds like a good thing the planet is getting slightly warmer.

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews Yep. And apparently the global rising temperatures will therefore be stopped by our borders 🤦♀️🙄 You mean to say you don’t understand how cold kills people? Good news, then - the number of people being killed by hot is on the rise.
English

@d3301rl @Conor_Maher @rtenews But it's not a part of the globe that's set a record high temperatures in even that last 100 years.
Care to explain why more people die from cold weather every year than do from hot weather?
English

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews Yeah - it’s not as if where you live is part of the globe. I mean you evidently are a real spacer. 🙄
English

@d3301rl @Conor_Maher @rtenews I don't live around the globe, I live in Ireland. So why would I worry about the climate changing given that we still haven't had a hotter day in Ireland in 139 years?
Not to mention the fact that most temperature related deaths are to do with cold weather, not hot weather.
English

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews OK - you win - I’ll accept the (disputed) Kilkenny record. No worries - it has *zero* impact on the GLOBAL warming debate.
English

@d3301rl @Conor_Maher @rtenews So we haven't had a higher temperature in Ireland in 139 years.
You're the making the claim, so may provide some evidence. 😂

English

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews First - apparently that record was in error. Second - you do know that there is a difference between Irish warming and Global warming - you are surely not that stupid. As for existential threat - the evidence is out there for anyone who wants to find it. You don’t.
English

@d3301rl @Conor_Maher @rtenews So I need a thermometer to show that Dublin hasn't recorded a higher temperature in the last 150 years?
And where's the proof to back up this claim that it's somehow an existential threat?

English

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews OK - you shouldn’t buy a thermometer, as it would require observational skills which you don’t seem to have. The conspiracy starts with “there is no need for alarm”, and is manifested by the myriad of scientists and others who say there is. You’ve apparently not noticed that 🙄
English

@d3301rl @Conor_Maher @rtenews What conspiracy are you talking about? Seems like you can't answer a straightforward question. 😂
English

@IrishTimes Did you miss the memo? The “climate change” modelling has been PROVEN incorrect. Your headline is yet more MSM horseshit.
English

Risk of record heat rises in Ireland and globally this summer as return of El Niño confirmed irishtimes.com/environment/cl…
English

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews To gather your own climate statistics and thereby blow the whole "conspiracy" out of the water. Can you not read? Or do you not know what a thermometer is? Or maybe you're just a stuuuuupid troll.
English

El Niño forecast to return this summer with risk of record heat in Ireland and globally
irishtimes.com/environment/cl…
English

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews So - you don't believe in your bullcrap enough to spend a few euro on a thermometer to gather your own climate statistics and thereby blow the whole "conspiracy" out of the water.
English

@d3301rl @Conor_Maher @rtenews Why would I need a thermometer?
The irony of you calling me an idiot yet you're afraid of the climate. 😂
English

@Conor_Maher @rtenews If you don't trust the WMO I can recommend buying a thermometer and hence becoming the hero who unequivocally blows the whole thing apart. Or do you not believe in your crap enough to even just buy a thermometer for a few euro?
English

@PopeSeneca @Conor_Maher @rtenews Oh look we found an idiot who can't be bothered to even just buy a thermometer to verify his beliefs. Think of it - with just a few euro investment you can become the hero who unequivocally blows the whole thing apart.
English

@rtenews Jesus just stop it now they have admitted that the model they were using for the last 3 decades is wrong.
English

@Conor_Maher @rtenews Here’s an idea! Buy your own thermometer, and publish the results. For only a couple of euro you can expose EVERYTHING!
English

@rtenews There’s a 100% chance that RTE will seize any chance to jump on the climate alarmism bandwagon and push this narrative down our necks. You can see by the comments they so many more are waking up to the fact that this is all about control. We need to wake the sleepers up to this.

@BlewideScorpi0 @BlackheartSora We are fully aware that you mentally fucked in the head weirdos exist. We just reject your proven delusions about gender.
English

@BlackheartSora We are fully aware that you mentally fucked in the head weirdos exist. We just reject your delusions. That’s not denying existence you stupid dumb fuck
English

@Soton7684 @rtenews Both those climate anomalies were limited to Europe. Global warming isn’t. And the vast majority of thermometers which measure said global warming are outside cities. Who do you think you are lying to? Us - or just yourself.
