Several serving and former Hampshire Police Officers have told me that ‘we had it drummed into us about our white privilege and unconscious bias’. Training was outsourced to a third party company and the trainer ‘was deeply hateful of white people and our culture.’ Officers have reported to me about being furious but unable to complain out of fear for their jobs. This is exactly why I blocked the Race Action Plan as Home Secretary. It is disgraceful that this stuff went on in policing. And the PCC and CC need to be held to account.

For those that didn’t pass their English GCSE or don’t have access to a dictionary, this one’s for you. “Cold rage is a highly controlled, suppressed form of intense anger. Instead of a loud, explosive outburst, it manifests as a calm, calculated, and terrifyingly focused mindset.” Please tell me how @Nigel_Farage called for violence on the streets in Southampton last night?

The fact that a FF Minister could not say that this is wrong is incredible.

"Outrageous": @Ben_Scallan grills Children's Minister Norma Foley after RTÉ promoted a book instructing under-16s on how to engage in explicit activities: "I don't know that book, I'm not familiar with it -" "Minister, I actually emailed your office about this ahead of time."

Henry Nowak’s family have lost their son and brother in the most appalling circumstances. Nigel Farage is exploiting this tragedy to create grievance and division. It’s completely unforgivable.

The chief constable of the force that arrested Henry Nowak has apologised for his officers handcuffing the student as he lay dying. Alexis Boon, head of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, also denied allegations of two-tier policing, adding that Nowak had not been treated differently because of his race. Keir Starmer and The Blob are following the same script as after Southport. Don’t fix the borders. Blame Nigel Farage. Don’t deport those who hate us. Blame Nigel Farage. Don’t crush the grooming gangs. Blame Nigel Farage. Don’t fix two-tier policing. Blame Nigel Farage.

"You are not likely to see Henry Nowak’s words stenciled on a mural. No corporation will change its logo. The same establishment that made a few words immortal when spoken by a black man in Minneapolis has met the same words, spoken by a white boy dying on a British street, with what can only be described as a determined, institutional silence. That silence is not neutral. It is a statement. It tells you exactly whose suffering the system has decided counts, and whose does not."

Lawyers for Nigel Farage have written to the BBC about their defamatory remarks. 1) The BBC must publish a full written apology to Mr Farage on the BBC website and pin the apology to the top of its relevant social media accounts for seven days. 2) the BBC must broadcast a full apology on air on Newsnight with due prominence, then share the on-air apology on the programme's social media accounts. 3) There must be a proper investigation into how the false quotation came to be said three times during the broadcast, and how they entered production materials without being checked. Unless we receive an urgent and satisfactory response, Mr Farage reserves all his rights, including but not limited to a complaint to Ofcom, and proceedings in defamation and/or malicious falsehood. We also reserve the right to seek aggravated damages, relying on the circumstances in which the misquotation was prepared, repeated, broadcast and then left available on iPlayer after the BBC appears to have appreciated the seriousness of what it had done.
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

🚨The BBC had just sunk to a new low. On Newsnight last night, presenter Matt Chorley claimed Nigel Farage said people should respond to the murder of Henry Nowak with “white cold rage”. Nigel DID NOT SAY THIS. The insertion of the word “white” by the BBC is obviously designed to change the meaning completely. It was no slip of the tongue, Chorley said it THREE TIMES. He came prepared to defame Nigel and lie to the country. This is disgusting from the BBC. Why do they insist on spitting in the faces of the millions of Reform supporters who are forced to contribute to their salaries? THE BBC MUST APOLOGISE IMMEDIATELY

Henry Nowak died in handcuffs on a cold December night. In his university room, his advent calendar still hung on the wall, only the first three doors opened. He was 18 years old, a university student, a beloved son and a friend. In the final minutes of his life, the officers who found him treated him as a problem to be managed rather than a victim in mortal distress. There is something almost unbearable about that small detail from his bedroom. It places Henry back where he belongs: not in the language of policy, race management or ham-fisted institutional self-protection, but in the ordinary life of a teenager in early December, marking the days to Christmas. ✍️ Ian Acheson Article | spectator.com/article/why-di…
