Had dinner with some folks last night and there was one guy that found out that I was invested in Bitcoin and he instantly said that his financial advisor told him not to buy any #Bitcoin in March of 2020 when the price was just over $3K. The financial advisor's reasoning was because Bitcoin has no intrinsic value. Keep in mind that everyone at the table was listening to this chat. I asked him if he had fired his financial advisor for giving him the worst financial advice they could have possibly given him. The entire table laughed (except him). The crazy thing is that this guy went on to say that he was thankful that his financial advisor gave him such "great" advice. I then just changed the subject. There's no reasoning with people like that. With that said, we are still early.
