In June 2022, Hannun hannun.com went public at a value higher than it deserved after raising an investment round through @Crowdcube, which wasn't prepared to distribute the shares to its users.

@Pze_pos @tibor_tee If you can write it like this, an LLM + code can do it. Pick one and tell me how you would implement it if you worked at Cursor. Tell me that it’s impossible.

@danituits2 @tibor_tee You can expect this all you want but cursor is a harness and its controlling non-deterministic models which are trying to guess your intentions. Even with Opus-12, this advice will still be better than prompt & pray

@simonsarris I think the picture is different if we compare Berlin with NY or equivalent, and we add other data like education, health care, etc.

If you make 90K USD (75K EUR) your net pay after taxes is: 72,145 USD living in New Hampshire, USA 54,151 USD in Berlin, Germany difference is almost "work for 2 years, get 1 year of salary free"

@prisma I guess Prisma 7 actually broke it. You released a new version and forgot that thousands of app were still using older versions.

@danituits2 Thanks for the details. We understand how frustrating that is, and we're glad Prisma 7 resolved it for you. I'll raise the feedback about pinning the binaries so we can keep improving this flow. Thanks for calling it out and helping us track it.

@prisma People complain all the time in your issues about the binaries you download that are not bundled or pinned with the package version. You really need to stop doing that, this is not the first time that happened and it’s really difficult to debug and impossible to revert.

@prisma The only thing that I could do to fix it was to migrate to the new major version (7), where I only had to change things related to the Prisma configuration, and nothing related to my code.

the skills that actually get you hired (not 500 leetcodes): • auth flows (oauth, jwt, sessions) • db schema design & migrations • caching (redis, cdn) • background jobs & queues • file uploads & storage • realtime (websockets, pub/sub) • forms & validation • state management • testing (unit + e2e) • deploys & monitoring leetcode won’t save you. this stack will.

Perplexity is repeatedly modifying their user agent and changing IPs and ASNs to hide their crawling activity, in direct conflict with explicit no-crawl preferences expressed by websites. cfl.re/4l7RV9b

@gniting @ryanchenkie @prisma I know, and I’m sorry, but it has been truly a very frustrating experience for years now, and it doesn’t seem to improve. But happy to be more helpful if possible.

@ryanchenkie @prisma Oh, man. I tried to upgrade from Prisma 6.5 to 6.12 with the new prisma-client and with the queryCompiler and everything is broken again. I’m ashamed of having chosen Prisma and inflicted all this pain to my client. Will never use it again.

@danituits2 @prisma Totally understand the frustration, working around things to use ESM is a big pain. We’re looking at how/where ESM support fits into the current work plan. I’ll be keeping an eye on it 👍

What's going on in Spain? I'm seeing reports that large gangs of foreigners have been attacking people on the streets. And reports that Spanish people have formed vigilante groups on the streets to stop the attacks. Is this true?
