i have never had rhubarb outside of pie, specifically with strawberry. does rhubarb have any other use? who was like “i’ve got all of this weird celery, seems perfect to stick in this otherwise nice dessert”

@Bonecondor sweets before me must face the fact that I'm already sweet enough
(actually I don't like fruit very much and rhubarb is, totally irrationally, fruit coded)

@Bonecondor every year Simi make rhubarb ice cream with our rhubarb and our eggs, and sometimes a rhubarb pie, but we might not have enough left at this point!

@simonsarris rhubarb is really nice! you should make some sort of treat with it. i’m partial to rhubarb danishes, strawberry-rhubarb crumble, or making a rhubarb simple syrup for drinks
