@jvylvnn_ This wouldn't be a problem if ALL queer spaces were welcoming, but even things like dating apps are filled to the brim with antiblackness and prejudice. And it didn't need to be that way, but the only spaces safe for black queer people are around other black queer people

@jvylvnn_ The point is the assumption that there are always gonna be spaces designed by/for queer poc is naive at best. A lot of people live in more conservative locations, so the few available queer spaces are (SUPPOSED TO BE) welcoming for everyone... but they're not, because of racism.

@jvylvnn_ So exactly what would you suggest black gay men do when EVERY gay space is labeled a "yt space" simply because gays are the majority in a given location and don't want black men around? I'm from southern Brazil and I have always been the only black gay anywhere I go.
