The MMA community mistakes Ilia Topuria for a boxer, when in fact he has been a wrestling specialist since childhood and only significantly developed his boxing after joining the UFC. He is naturally a wrestler first, then a BJJ artist and only then a boxer. It's almost his "fault" that he hasn't needed to rely on wrestling inside the UFC cage. Before joining the UFC, he outgrappled and submitted his opponents.
