1-hour since our trans-Pacific flight from Taipei (UA 852) landed at SFO and we're still parked on the tarmac with no sign of heading to a gate. Our gate remains occupied. What a mess @united Many missed connections on this one.

Cornelius - "Electricities is experiencing a widespread power outage affecting the customers in Cornelius. The cause is a problem on Duke Energy’s main line serving the substation. Duke is aware of the outage and is responding and will have power restored as quickly as possible."

It's dark in downtown Davidson except for traffic, because of a power outage. More than 4,000 customers are without power in our area, from the Exit 30 area to downtown to east Davidson at NC 73. No cause given yet by Duke Energy. An alert says power could be back by 11:15pm.
