If you could have one former DC establishment return to the city, which would it be?

@KathrynforAD @BarredinDC I did as I faced open discrimination before, being told I would not be promoted to a manager because she needed "a big, tall black guy who can yell at people." She got it. She also go a slew of sexual harassment complaints and had to fire him after 9 months, but she got it :-)

@BarredinDC I’ve actually wondered if short guys got better jobs/more offers during the pandemic because of virtual interviews.

As a short dude (5’7 but still tallest in my immediate family) this is a wild piece

@BarredinDC The ratio actually does not favor dudes here when you only look at family rearing ages. Single men aged 18-40 vastly outnumber single women of that age group. It only skews when you include women 45+, which includes widows, as women outlive men

Some replies from fellow short dudes that this doesn’t ring true. I wonder if DC area white collar/nerds are shorter than other major metros but the ratios favor dudes here so doesn’t seem the same issue as other places.
