Took D94 over to Foxhall Village, wild to see all these Tudor Revival style homes (about 90-100 years old).
Anyways looks like I missed peak bloom for the Yoshino cherries but expect the pink Kwanzan cherry trees to bloom in a week or two.

Haven’t been in 15 years but prob my favorite cherry blossom location in DC is Greenwich Parkway NW in Foxhall. Thought you need a car but D94 bus from Dupont or Farragut West takes you nearly directly there. Goto the original Jettie’s while you’re out there

Federal government agrees not to touch bike lanes until at least April 23rd and in exchange WABA will not file for a temporary restraining order. Instead they'll file for a preliminary injunction in the coming days and try to resolve that before the April 23rd deadline.

IMO as a reader it’s misleading for reporters to say “declined to comment” if the response was anything other than “no comment” or similar. They don’t need to print the BS response but at least be accurate. AP style guide doesn’t cover this, what’s taught in j-schools?
