@CornerRadish @FrauTricia You set up paper tigers in defence as he never claimed to be a hero or special. He posted about something that moved him, and your response just reveals you as an unkind person. Indeed it was far more attention seeking than the original post you set out to belittle. Just nasty.

@FrauTricia I'm sorry but I just don't see it as particularly heroic or special. It is the minimum of what I would expect of any decent person should they find themselves in that position. Why would you not perform CPR?

@CornerRadish @cym11 Breathtaking lack of insight by @CornerRadish. Why instinctively leap to criticise a person for sharing such a positive and moving story? Suggests a bitter and nasty core. Whatever the outcome @cym11 it was an act of basic humanity and worth sharing.

@cym11 And your first reaction is to get validation to yourself by tweeting about it...🙄If your story is true, well done but why the attention seeking?

So fabulous to welcome Paula and @PetsAsTherapyUK dog Lola back to @CUH_NHS. Helping to support staff wellbeing by providing a lunchtime cuddle, Lola will be back every Monday to say hello. If Monday's are 'im-paws-ible', say hi to @PetsAsTherapyUK dog Pablo on Wednesdays.

Like anyone else, I too have anger in me. However, I try to recall that anger is a destructive emotion. Scientists say anger is bad for our health; it eats into our immune system. It destroys our peace of mind. We shouldn't welcome it or think of it as natural or as a friend.

This 100% 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 Thank you @RNLI for your relentless bravery, selflessness, compassion and humanity. Refugees are people too and their lives are as sacred as anyone's, no ifs, no buts. Please don't stop rescuing them or anyone who needs it ❤🙏🏻💙 #IStandWithRefugees #RNLIheroes

We're proud of the lifesaving work our volunteers do in the Channel – we make no apology for it. Those we rescue are vulnerable people in danger & distress. Each of them is someone’s father, mother, son or daughter - every life is precious. This is why we launch:

@DejongeSi I agree wholeheartedly Simon. Well said. It is hateful prejudice masquerading as personal freedom and has no place in a civilised compassionate society.

I normally don’t post on Twitter but I can’t continue to see MP’s support homophobia by stating it should be parents right to not let their children be made aware of gay relationships. My relationships are just as valid as anyone’s and are not to be hidden.

I hope everyone takes a moment today to remember Saman Gunan, the Thai Navy Seal that died making sure the kids stuck in the cave had enough oxygen so that today's rescue would even be possible. #ThaiCaveRescue
