Maxwell greens are some of the finest ever built. I just love them. This is the par 3 2nd hole at Prairie Dunes. An incredibly difficult green to hit and hold. It slopes in all different directions. Some call this hole the “shortest par 5” in golf. It’s that tough.

Down wind with 49 mph gusts. No way to hold without a run up. Hard to work that with the 12 ft gap now 6 ft. Tourists.

One of my favorite golf clubs in the US, Perry Maxwell’s Prairie Dunes. The front nine was designed by Perry Maxwell, the back nine was later designed by his son Press. This map and yardage pre-date that second nine. @DunesShop
