@BelgSportsFan @BenjiNaesen of course it is manipulation or at least a severe case of negligence/ignorance but thats on the organizers and not the riders. They simply use that to their advantage

@deSouabe @BenjiNaesen When you first attack and the Moto hasn't reacted yet, yes, then there's a small window where they can take tactical advantage, which is difficult to prevent. But that should only last a few seconds, not minutes and multiple times on every crucial place again for minutes/km's.

Mathieu van der Poel wins E3 Saxo Classic after Group 2 decides not to close the gap when it was only 10 meters in the final KM. Jonas Abrahamsen. 😂 #E3SaxoClassic

Just wanted to put this out there, Twitter is a place to discuss our passions, the sport of pro cycling is the one we have in common. I want to hear your takes whether you agree with me or not. 🫡 If everyone had the same opinion, there would be no point in any of this.

@HitchikersPie I'm on the same boat. Last night, I might've been in a 50/50 between both riders, but after today, I'm feeling 65/35 for MVDP.

Tadej Pogačar is probably winning LBL & Il Lombardia, so he can win all 5 monuments this year if he brings home Paris-Roubaix. Who's the favourite for Paris-Roubaix?

You just know Mathieu will not fully commit with Wout tomorrow behind Pogačar just so Wout won't be able to win😴😴

@Tratnikstan its just a simple risk/gain calculation and most riders see their chances to win too slim to risk a podium which i fully understand and wouldnt do any other way myself

Again the peloton has the moto in front, G1 has the moto behind. Is it so hard to create equal conditions?

@BenjiNaesen @tigzdaka commentary suggested the plan was for lipowitz to be in his wheel which would explain the looking back and throwing the hand

@tigzdaka Remco literally had a gap in the final descent on Mas, and then just stopped for no reason. I bet he wins the stage if he continues there.

Awesome victory for Brady Gilmore! 💪 #VoltaCatalunya105 Shame for Dean Gordon to lose out after surviving Montjuic 7 times, but Remco Evenepoel never stood a chance against them.

I will be harsh… Today’s cycling is full of riders who just like to travel the world, make good money with it, and absolutely do not care if they win, finish second, or just somewhere in the bunch; at most, they are happy to have good numbers and earn some UCI points. Where is the passion? The winning mentality? The kind of mindset that says: I would rather go all in and lose than never try? Because in the end, isn’t cycling supposed to be about daring to win, not just riding not to lose?

Per Strand Hagenes on Eurosport: "For me 2nd place is a great result. Vermeersch wanted Abrahamsen to do one more pull, he doesn't want to do it, I don't want to do it...that's racing." #E3SaxoClassic

I reckon Jonas Vingegaard will attack on Collada de Sant Isidre, otherwise he risks being isolated in the valley afterwards. #VoltaCatalunya105

@BelgSportsFan @BenjiNaesen its a known fact that motos help attackers and the whole peloton knows it. Its just smart to use that and g2 syndrome to your advantage.

@BenjiNaesen He wins due to moto's on crucial points. Riding right in front of him when he rode away from the 2nd group. Again when he dropped Stan Dewulf, on the whole section until Oude Kwaremont he got pulled. And on the last open road to Harelbeke, constantly blocking wind on the left.

Already looking forward to Flèche Wallone and the Mur of Huy. Without Loulou, Pogi, Roglic, Valverde and former winners like Teuns and Hirschi not in good form, we have a wide open field. Big chance of a new name on the list: who is your pick?
