@dedd124 @BrianMcDonaldIE The reasons are many; for example, it is not in our interest for Ukraine to lose this war; the countries mentioned are not invading other countries, especially not in Europe; there are not enough democratic countries with the resources we need etc.

Heartwarming watching Armenia come ever closer and closer to Europe. But do not forget that it is Ukraine that made this possible. I hope Georgia will also get rid of it's Russian puppet regime soon.

@dedd124 @fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man That's exactly what happened. And what the member states could agree upon was agreed upon, such as economic/humanitarian aid. Truly democratic and a shining example of unanimity, a founding principle of the EU.

@Fergas230067 @fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man Charles Michel, innitialy criticized the intervention and less than 3 months after that was congratulating their dictator for "winning" the election, and a couple months after was giving him a peace prize. Their words were nothing more than meaningless theathre

@Fergas230067 @fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man I don't know. Maybe call Azerbaijan for what it is. A dictatorship who massacres civilians for being of the wrong ethnicity. They condemmed the offensive only to show off, deep down they wanted it to take place to piss of Russia and drag Armenia in their sphere of influence

@Fergas230067 @fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man No, I am not. In my country the parlamient actually has power and can prupose laws. The EU parlamient is meaningless. They vote on one thing and the comission does another while not having to fear any sort of accountability.

@Fergas230067 @fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man the comission (which he likes) is the one that holds real power, not the parlamient. The parlamient only exists to give an illusion of democracy to european citizens

@michelec369 @BrianMcDonaldIE by that logic why dont we throw Ukraine under the bus and make deals with Russia if respect for the rule of law and human rights is something so meaningless?

@BrianMcDonaldIE Nobody gives a shit. We can’t do business only with Western democracies; we must get our oil and gas from Qatar, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Libya, etc. The point is to avoid getting it from countries hostile to us, like Russia.

@Fergas230067 @fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man also, do you wonder why Alyev hate the european parlamient for daring to criticize his actions while complementing the comission? That iself should tell which side they are on

@Fergas230067 @fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man they condemed the offensive while at the same time not doing anything meaningfull to deter Azerbaijan or punish it for doing all the war crimes they did. In fact, they wanted the ethnic cleansing to occur because that would mean that russian peacekeepers would leave the region

@fabianx_cap @The_Davos_Man Alyev: x.com/vonderleyen/st… x.com/CharlesMichel/… x.com/kajakallas/sta… Untill the Ukraine war Azerbaijan had a lower democracy index than Russia, and its not gotten better, Russia only got slightly worse than them: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Econo…
Kaja Kallas@kajakallas

Azerbaijan is a valued and reliable energy partner for the EU, so it was good to be in Baku today for talks with @presidentaz Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister @Bayramov_Jeyhun. Strengthening connectivity between the EU and the South Caucasus is in our shared strategic interest and we’re open to discuss a more structured partnership with Azerbaijan. There is clear scope to deepen our cooperation on trade, transport and digital. We also exchanged views on Russia’s war against Ukraine and the latest Iranian attacks in the Middle East.

Today, those who call themselves Greeks are in fact Christianized Turks,Albanian and Macedonian! 55% of Greece’s population consists of Karamanli Turks from Anatolia, whom we sent back during the population exchange. Most of the rest are Albanians, Macedonians. The Greek they speak today is the Demotic form of a language that had been dead for 3500 years. It only became the official language in 1976. From 1830 to 1976, they attempted to revive and impose Ancient Greek on the population. Greece was artificially created in 1830 by the Great Powers as a buffer state against the Turks. Even today, those powers try to support this Greek myth with DNA tests, but the truth remains unchanged: Greeks are Christianized Turks.🤷‍♂️ 🇹🇷🇦🇱🇲🇰

@dedd124 @The_Davos_Man Oh so now it's Europe's fault that Russia got too "distracted" to defend its own allies? Do you even hear yourself? Russia is a shitty ally and Armenia wouldn't have lost that region if it hadn't relied on them

@The_Davos_Man "Made it possible?" You mean how it got Russia distracted enought to allow EU's new favorite dixtatorship to ethnically cleanse the region of over 100 thousand armenians while doing some of the worst attrocities ever recorded? Yah, thank God for western values prevailing
