‘’ 🚨🇬🇷 This is the real state of Greece. At the top, tie-wearing traitors are slicing up the Greek cake under the EU flag with knives and forks. They’re laughing and eating it with great appetite. At the bottom, the impoverished grandchildren of 1821 are on their knees in filth, hungry and dishonorable, collecting the crumbs that fall from the table wrapped in their own flag. Even in this miserable condition, these paupers still dream of invading Türkiye and reviving the Megali Idea. Independence, you say? Today, Greece itself is under occupation. Not by swords this time, but by credit, memorandums, migration, and islands sold off at cocaine prices. Greece is experiencing a massive population collapse. In 20 years, its population will drop from 10 million to 7 million. Yet these people are still delusional enough to think they can take on a giant like Türkiye. You are far too weak and failed a state to be our rival. You know you can’t confront us alone, so you beg everyone for allies. But these desperate efforts are in vain. Do you really think anyone would abandon a huge 90-million-strong Turkish market for the sake of a poor 7-million population? 😂 ‘’

These people are Orthodox Turks living in Greece.Because the population exchange of 1922 was based on religion, Orthodox Turks from Karaman and Cappadocia also migrated to Greece. These Orthodox individuals still speak Turkish and celebrate weddings according to Turkish customs..

@BasedTurkiiye They are narrowing “Turk” to modern citizenship and then using that artificial limit to delete every older Turkic and Eurasian steppe layer from history.

I have seen some people are quoting Prof. Dr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu’s post and instead of doing historical analysis. They are playing with definitions. They reduce the word “Turk” to only mean a modern citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, and then use that narrow modern definition to erase older Turkic, Turko-Mongol, Oghuz, Kipchak, Mamluk, Safavid, Saka, steppe, and Central Asian layers from history. That is not methodology. That is selective erasure. Pazyryk and Saka cultures should not be simplistically called “modern Turkish.” But saying they had “no connection” with later Turkic or Eurasian steppe populations is also far too absolute. Ancient steppe history cannot be read through modern passport categories. Language, genetics, political identity, and material culture do not always move as one single package. The kurgan evidence also matters. Steppe kurgans contain horses, weapons, warrior equipment, and in many cases both male and female warrior burials. One study records 303 Scythian female warrior burials from 267 kurgans, while another notes weapons in both male and female Scythian graves. This warrior-horse burial structure belongs to the wider Eurasian steppe world. It is not the same as sedentary Iranian imperial burial culture, especially given that Zoroastrian Iranian mortuary practice could even prohibit burial and prescribe exposure. So Pazyryk and Saka should not be simplistically called “modern Turkish,” but they also cannot be removed from the Turkic/steppe continuity discussion by simply labeling them “Iranian.” The archaeological structure itself points to the steppe world. The Native American point is also constantly misrepresented. Nobody serious is saying “Native Americans are Turks.” The point is that Native American ancestry has links to ancient Siberian and Altai-related populations. That proves ancient population movements across enormous distances. It does not prove modern Turkish identity, but it does destroy the claim that Altai/Siberian-related peoples could not move across wide geographies. The same category error appears with the Safavids and Mamluks. Of course they were not “modern Turkish nation-states.” Nobody claimed that. But the Safavid court and military had strong Turkic-speaking elements, and the Mamluk elite was largely of Turkic and Circassian military origin. You cannot erase Turkic historical layers just because they do not fit the modern nation-state model. Then the subject is shifted to devshirme, jizya, Armenians, Greeks, or late Ottoman violence. These are separate historical discussions. They do not prove that Turks had no world-historical role or that Turkic history can be deleted. The same applies to darüşşifas and medicine. Yes, Ottoman medicine inherited Hellenic, Byzantine, Persian, Arab, and Islamic medical traditions. That is how medical history works: transmission, adaptation, institution-building, and development. The Ottomans did not invent medicine from nothing, but adoption and institutional development are still history. So the issue is clear: These people are not refuting Turkish history. They are narrowing “Turk” to modern citizenship and then using that artificial limit to delete every older Turkic and Eurasian steppe layer from history. That is not scholarship. That is selective erasure.

✅ Accurate and well-placed observation. As Evren Hanım correctly points out, limiting the discussion to the criteria of modern Turkish Republic citizenship and erasing the earlier Turkic / steppe layers is neither a sound historical method nor scientifically consistent. This is a clear case of selective erasure. Pazyryk and Saka (Scythian) cultures cannot be directly equated with the modern term “Turk”; however, labeling them simply as “Iranian/sedentary” and completely severing them from steppe continuity is also wrong. The kurgan burial tradition, horse burials, and the practice of armed warriors — both male and female — are clear markers of the Eurasian steppe cultural package. This pattern is distinctly different from Zoroastrian Iranian sedentary burial customs (which sometimes included exposure of the dead and prohibition of burial). Kurgan data is also strong: One study identified 303 Scythian female warrior graves out of 267 kurgans. Many of these female burials contained weapons and horse equipment. These ratios (around 20–37% in some regions) clearly demonstrate the warrior role of women in steppe societies. Throughout history, trying to erase layers such as Oghuz, Kipchak, Mamluk, Karakhanid, Seljuk, Ottoman, etc., by applying narrow “modern nation-state” criteria is essentially reading history with today’s passport. Turkic elements in the Safavids, Turkic-Kipchak origins in the Mamluk elite, ancient population movements from Central Asia to Siberia-Altai… These are real historical layers. They require proper contextualization, not denial. In short:
Turkish history neither begins in 1923, nor is every steppe culture “a citizen of today’s Turkey.” Yet the steppe-Turkic continuity is a legitimate subject of discussion in the context of language, genetics, material culture, and political heritage. We need comprehensive history, not selective erasure. 💯
