The day has finally arrived for @Mystic_Pepe and I'm super excited to share it with all of you guys. Now for the alpha: For this mint, we originally inscribed this genesis Mystic Pepe on a rare satoshi (the first satoshi after a difficulty adjustment). We then used the parent child concept to create prints, which are all inscribed on various special sats. Parent/Child is a method where "the owner of an inscription can create child inscriptions, which can be used for collections, and the children of a parent inscription being members of the same collection." (Ordinal Theory Handbook). In this case, we inscribed 3 children under the rare which corresponded to various special sats. We then used the method of recursion or a way to "combine" multiple inscriptions and layer specific traits. Each week, we'll have a new artist auction off a piece inscribed on an uncommon sat (the first satoshi of every block) then the artist has the option of selecting a # of prints that will be available for mint soon after. It's important to note our team here at @deezy_inc values giving back. When we initially started on Pepe's journey to enlightenment, we established that a portion of sale proceeds from each original piece/prints sold will be donated to open source development and the charity of the artists choice. To the artists, thank you for your contributions to this project, it means a lot. We worked tremendously hard to onboard pepe artists from XCP, Ethereum and Tezos while wanting to put you in the best position to be successful and fulfilled, so hopefully this is a smooth process to experiment more using #Bitcoin inscriptions in the future. Open source art is a concept where any one artist can participate with the goal being to encourage and foster a community to create something become bigger than itself. Some inspiration to this concept in my eyes would be Rare Pepes, @FAKERARES_XCP, and @NotablePepes. As we embark on Pepe's journey to enlightenment, I look forward to more contributions, growing success for individual artists, and development on #Bitcoin.
