@_n2in7a_ they're rare only if you are like me and only collect old military arms, if you're a normal gun owner and have things like glocks and ar-15 they're very common
English

@dethernaxx Thanks, brother! Guns and ammo are rare, huh... First, I'll look into the background information of the text.
English

@_n2in7a_ if you ever need reference materials on them, i can take pictures of my own sample, as for ammunition, the carcano is the hardest ammunition to find along with 8x50R Lebel, i only was just able to find a source just two weeks ago for carcano

English

@dethernaxx I just learned that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Carcano.
In the 🇯🇵 community, it's often ridiculed, along with the Breda M30, because it uses outdated ammunition.
1/6000 scale is rare! Finding reference materials must be difficult :(
English

@_n2in7a_ all my rifles are still in their original calibers and have not been rechambered, my and my friends who collect military arms are very particular about the guns still being in their original state when we purchase them
English

@dethernaxx California! I hear gun control is strict there. Probably not as strict as in Japan, though, haha.
I often hear that they get chambered into .308 Wins, so I respect you for that.
English

@_n2in7a_ As for the three rifles, the Lebel was the worlds first smokeless powder firearm, the Carcano is famous for having been the rifle used to assassinate American President John F. Kennedy, and the Madsen M47 is one of 6000 made for the columbian navy after WWII
English

@dethernaxx I'll look into the following: • Lebel • Carcano • Columbia Madsen M47 I've never heard of the last one before. ...By the way, how do you get ammunition, brother?
English

@_n2in7a_ from top to bottom:
French 1886 Lebel
American Krag Jørgensen
British Lee Enfield no4 mk1
Italian Carcano M38
Early Production Nagoya Arsenal Type 99 Arisaka
Columbian Madsen M47
English

@dethernaxx What a fantastic collection! ...I'm not very familiar with pieces from this era, but I recognize some pieces that look like they could be by Krag Jørgensen, Lee-Enfield, or Arisaka.
English

@finity_Sabage i understand that feeling very well when I have to prepare for my own range days, had to prepare each stripper clip myself

English

@_n2in7a_ there doesn't exist any left handed military bolt action, as left handed shooters were told to shoot right handed instead for ease of training back then, better the minority conform to the majority then to have to waste resources catering to them. modern bolt actions you can swap

English

@dethernaxx A left-handed bolt-action rifle would be difficult to use.
Military rifles either don't have left-handed bolt handles, or if they do, they're extremely rare.
Maintaining the original appearance would make it even more difficult…
English

@_n2in7a_ if they're properly mounted it shouldn't flex if its on the handguard, for example my friend's ar-15 has it side mounted and screwed in properly so it doesn't flex when I shot it last

English

@dethernaxx If I replace the stock on my G36 airsoft gun with an IDZ stock, I'll need to raise the position of the optical sight because of the cheek rest. I'm thinking of mounting a laser device in front of the optical sight. It seems like it would flex if mounted on the handguard.

@a_piroyoshi don't worry, the in america, the amount of Arisakas that randomly pop out when cleaning the attics is pretty high also when no one realized that Grampa's old war trophy rifle is still in the house

@7bullets45ACP and thats why even if they're toys, the japanese should still follow the four laws of firearm safety so that it is always a habit to be safe
English

@Yxk1VtfaaZgs2eJ i jest i jest, i know Tokyo Marui will probably have better and tighter quality control then whatever the hell Sig has for the real ones
English

@_n2in7a_ With a high sight, your primary problem is the "height over bore" where you have to be mentally aware how much higher your sight is set above the barrel and account for that when shooting. Even with those problems, the G36 remains one of my favorite rifles aesthetically
English

@_n2in7a_ I believe so, I've never actually used a charging handle, only the bolt release on my friend's ar-15, and i run into my own problems as a left handed shooter who only owns military bolt actions so all the bolts are on the right side of the rifle so i have to reach around to cycle
