I think multiple things can be true.
1) JT understands what Chelsea means more than anyone running the club
2) Fans feeling disconnected are desperate for a connection again, hence wanting a legend back
3) JT has made some serious errors of judgment over the years

Remember how we’ve had fans calling for Terry to “have a say at the club” and how the owners are “scared” of his influence because he’s “propa chels” who will “tell them how it is”. Probably should have realised why they don’t want him at the club a long time ago.

Wesley Fofana being a flop isn't spoken about enough, £75m, one of the most expensive Centre Backs ever. And he's either not been fit to play or he's been absolutely average if not terrible for most of his time here.
