@BitPaine Trump's speeches aren't aimed at me. They're aimed at everyone, including Americans. If his plan is to use artifice even against the people he was elected to represent (maybe he thinks they have a low iq), then what's going on in your country?

@digispud you’ve failed to apprehend that Trump’s speech is artifice, meant to mislead low iq people like you. but that’s the point.

Cryptogipsies need Michael Saylor to fail for the same reason that shitlibs need Donald Trump to fail: Because he made them - and every useless “project” they gooned around on for a decade - completely irrelevant. Saylor went long bitcoin and faded shitcoinery, and Trump went long America and faded globalism. Unfortunately for both of these groups, Michael Saylor and Donald Trump are not going to fail. Imagine rooting for bitcoin or America to fail. Shitlibs and crypto gipsies are sad people.

someone minted 80 million unbacked stablecoin tokens and extracted $25 million from a DeFi protocol called Resolv just... minted them out of nothing and drained the protocol meanwhile Scaramucci is on TV talking about the 4-year cycle and whether bitcoin hits a new high in Q4 one of these stories tells you something real about the state of "crypto infrastructure" the other one is astrology with a Bloomberg terminal the Resolv exploit barely trended. $25 million stolen by minting tokens that didn't exist. an entire stablecoin depegged 70% and it got less coverage than a man giving his opinion about what a chart might do in nine months

My best friend is 36 years old. His wife used to be gorgeous, but she’s gained over 100 lbs since having their two kids. He says he loves her regardless, but it’s clear she’s making no effort whatsoever to become attractive again. How can I convince her that he can do better?

@BTCBreadMan Don't shit on the gold-bugs. They saw the problems we're fighting against long before computers were invented. Feel free to shit on the ones (Schiff?) who laugh at bitcoin though. They're worthy of scorn. Gold won't become worthless. But neither will it keep up.

@marc02200 Feels like Bitcoin can't go lower, because it's already at the cycle low. Been here (or around here) for quite a while - it can only mean the spring is coiling. I'm a perpetual bitcoin bull, but for real it feels like we need to teleport higher soon.

Just to let you guys know. Iran just launched a new wave of missiles toward Israel. The ceasefire lasted about as long as expected. And Bitcoin just keeps producing a block every ten minutes regardless.

Unpopular opinion: “Not your keys not your coins” sounds great until your cold wallet is sitting at the bottom of a marina… Be honest. Exchange or cold storage….where are you really keeping your Bitcoin?

@_BTCStrategist There isn't anything that would need maintenance. If it failed it would go in the bin. Unless you're an electronics whiz with the equipment and time to debug it. Changing the fan just needed a screwdriver.

@digispud Something like that is definitely what I’m looking for. You ever had to do any maintenance on it?

@_BTCStrategist This is the only one I've ever had. I got it about 2 years ago, and it's been running 24/7 since then. Mine is quite puny in terms of hash power, around 400 GH/s. You can get much faster ones these days for the same (or less) money. Worth it? Not financially, but it's fun.

@BitcoinRachy You might know this already, but I only recently found this out, and it's pretty cool: The block reward is the same as the % of the supply getting mined that epoch. e.g. when the block reward was 50 btc, 50% of the supply got mined.

So Bitcoin mining difficulty dropped ~7.8% Cointelegraph headline: "Bitcoin mining difficulty falls 7.7% as miner pressure persists" The Block headline: "Bitcoin mining difficulty drops 7.8% as miner exodus accelerates amid AI pivot" One says pressure and the other says exodus. One frames it as a normal cycle adjustment and the other frames it as miners abandoning bitcoin for AI. This is the same number reported on the same day by two outlets that sit next to each other in everyone's feed. I built @BTCPerception because I kept noticing this. The same event producing opposite narratives depending on which outlet you happened to open first. Your understanding of the market is being shaped by editorial decisions you never see.

@marc02200 When I started my journey, they did indeed think I'd lost my mind. After some NGU, they started saying thing like "sell enough to get back what you put in, the rest is profit!" Now they just admit I won. But not one of them wants to buy any now. I don't understand it.

The hardest part about Bitcoin isn't buying it. It's sitting quietly while everyone around you thinks you've lost your mind. And then watching them ask you how to buy some three years later.
