People being mad about the new pokemon game is the same cycle of pokemon over and over again… We did this last game too. Pokemon is for kids. Pokemon is about battling and catching monsters. The amount of grown adults complaining about wall textures has to make you giggle.

The arms race in the AI sector is super wild. Zuck and META are paying $100m bonuses to take the best talent from other companies. I can’t say I’ve ever seen POC hung prices that high for taking competitors employees.

@tzmartin As an artist I have a little grin for this one. Artists may be the exception to this rule. Not always of course, but so many creators become more important and more impactful when they are gone. It does make me wonder what it was like to live with DaVinci in his time tho

@docbdesign It's an interesting way of thinking, cause royalties were supposed to be there to help artists keep earning. Reminds of owning a physical collectible in 'mint' condition. Same thing I guess.

Hate to say it, but it's true... Collectors mostly avoid collecting on secondary. At least when it comes to art on tezos... Probably tons of reasons, but I've narrowed down to 3 main ones: 1. Collectors want to support artists, not flippers (nothing against flipping personally) 2. They don't buy art to turn a profit, they buy because they love it. 3. Buying the piece on secondary doesn't hold the same meaning for them. You might disagree with this, but I'm kinda the same. And I want this @objktcom feature suggested by @mariuswatz so I can quickly find pieces on primary. I know my collectors want the same for me too. Go vote it up on the road map if you agree 👇🏾🔗🧵

The new Neon Museum is going to land in downtown Las Vegas!! This looks like a wicked cool addition to DTLV if you ask me.

I’m curious if there are any Vegas artists still in my online circle. I have a live painting show again next month and the venue said I am welcome to invite some other artists. It hit me - lots of my old art world pals have since quit the industry.
