@NiohBerg If we lose the Falklands, it'll be because the most powerful man in the world and his mates are shit-stirring morons, and nothing to do with our Prime Minister.

Britain could lose the Falklands because of weak leadership. It's not the 80s anymore, there's no Thatcher in charge and the UK is a depressing shell of its former self. If Argentina simply walks in and takes over, possibly soon with Trump's approval, what exactly will Keir Starmer do? Send an angry worded letter? Would he even care at all?

Someone having a go at me for my politics suggested it was poor form that the highlight of my career had only been Threads. It was A highlight, if not THE highlight. Imagine something akin to Threads being the highlight of anyone’s career… & it being a source of derision! 😄

What is the point of #PMQs? Starmer does not even engage with the questions, let alone attempt to answer them. He appointed Mandelson knowing he had remained friends with Epstein. He didn’t even bother to as Mandelson about it. Starmer never takes responsibility.

Obviously I'm thrilled that part one and three of my all-time favourite Doctor Who story have successfully been returned. If this had happened three years ago, I would've not been able to sleep from excitement. But now I feel ambivalent.

@pastaquincy I'd much rather watch episodes that do the best they can with the effects they could manage at the time, than ones that are *still* shit despite having lots of money thrown at them, like a lot of the modern stuff.

@RebecTV At the risk of playing devil's advocate, and while I hated both the series endings/puzzlebox resolutions, there were some really good episodes amongst all the greater failure: Dot and Bubble, 73 Yards, Lux, The Story & the Engine, all really interesting ideas.

@MarkRich2013 @DublinFox98 @batmanmarch I think they might use it to plug a gap in the release schedule once S11 and 16 have been done, if they're still kicking their heels over the B&W sets. Or even sooner, depending on how long they take to sort out the colourisation on Invasion of the Dinosaurs.

@DublinFox98 @batmanmarch Wilderness might be the last release which would be a good few years away yet plus I’m sure they’ll have good stuff on there that will make fans want to buy it anyway.

The scoundrels in @UKLabour in Gov & the @LibDems & @TheGreenParty trying to attack & discredit Jim Ratcliffe are either deliberately missing the point or worst colluding in the collapse of our economy. Why? Because they say he is using inappropriate language on immigration, that his own Man U players are immigrants, yes they are but the big difference is they pay huge amounts of tax to the UK. They say he got his numbers wrong, well it’s still millions who came across. The millions who have come are low skilled & therefore are a huge burden on public services & the economy, and as @DuncanBannatyne says today are they not claiming benefits? Look at the countries who do attract the best immigrants - the UAE has 10 to 1 immigrant vs local population. The locals support this wholeheartedly. Why? Because if you are an immigrant you have to have a job & pay taxes. If you don’t have work you have to leave. I call that Smart Gov. We @reformparty_uk will change this, we will tackle the tough choices and deliver. The @Conservatives (which yes I was part of) made a huge error of judgement on this issue. @Nigel_Farage is determined to fix. I predict more & more smart loyal Brits will join us. @Keir_Starmer is yet again on the wrong side of history on this.

Today’s top news story: The British Prime Minister demands an apology from a billionaire who used a word he didn’t like. Meanwhile, the economy flatlines, our borders are being breached, the birthrate has collapsed and 6 million people are paid not to work.

@DoctorWhoPN Not all of them, necessarily. I think a few two-parters is good - certainly for budgetary reasons if nothing else - but there's shouldn't be a requirement to force stories to stretch to that format where it's not required.

The Vice Chancellor of Bangor University is paid £287,000 a year, and the university employs 32 people on more than £100k. All to indoctrinate their students so much they ban an MP from the party leading national polls from speaking at a debate. Why should taxpayers fund this?
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

Bangor University have banned Reform and called us “racist, transphobic and homophobic”. Bangor receives £30 million in state funding a year, much of which comes from Reform-voting taxpayers. I am sure they won’t mind losing every penny of that state funding under a Reform government. After all, they wouldn’t want a racist’s money would they?

You can always tell when an ostensibly British thing is really being made for an American audience because the large diverse ensemble includes zero people from the UK's second-largest ethnic group.

@PeterSh90080307 @TwitDinosaur @SimonDanczuk We've witnessed prisoners, either being handcuffed to prison officers or police officers given priority. One prisoner begged for morphine for a sprained wrist, it was actually funny. BUT NEVER migrants or people of a different ethnicity, that's just blatant lies to create anger.

🚨We've been tipped off there's something fishy about this, we're told David Ingle is not only a right wing supporter of Reform, he collaborated with @SimonDanczuk, a political strategist for Reform UK. We think this is to turn opinion after the outrage when Tice defended Trump.
