By “hacked up,” I just cloned the repo and used Claude to tweak defaults and remove features I didn’t want (PepperChat). It’s basically source-level config tweaks, not worth a fork or PR.

FluidAudio is great for low-latency ML tasks like ASR and VAD. It runs small, efficient models on CoreML (ANE), freeing the GPU for heavier work. I’ve been using the Parakeet TDT 0.6B model on a hacked up GhostPepper instead of typing. github.com/FluidInference…
