For decades, the Chutia community’s aspirations were ignored. ❌ Under our Govt, they’re taking centre stage! 💪 From the statue of Birangana Sati Sadhani to ₹77+ cr grants, a State University & reservation of seats, this is NEW Assam, where heritage fuels progress.

@visrane Shri @narendramodi, the behavior of your health minister, who has no basic knowledge of emergency services while seeking attention, is completely unacceptable and warrants not only his termination but also a public apology to the CMO at the same hospital in public.

1. It was not some life threatening emergency or even a major health issue. It was just an injection to be given. 2. You walked with camera recording and humiliated a medical officer on duty. 3. If your purpose was to help people, set up OPDs on Sunday or injection rooms. 4. The language and the manner you spoke was not like a minister. It was more like a road side hooligan. People will take your example and verbally/physically attack doctors and medical staff tomorrow. You're setting a precedent. 5. Learn how to officially handle matters without cameras and sensationalism. 6. People like you are the reason why doctors don't like working in govt hospitals. 7. Do not make doctors the scapegoats for your govt's inefficiencies.

I joined @Hindus4HR on today’s Palestine march. Hundreds of thousands were on the streets of London demanding an end to Israel’s genocide in Gaza. The evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity is utterly damning & utterly clear. Let no news outlet convince you otherwise.

Great work from the President’s team, especially Secretary Rubio. And my gratitude to the leaders of India and Pakistan for their hard work and willingness to engage in this ceasefire.
Secretary Marco Rubio@SecRubio

Over the past 48 hours, @VP Vance and I have engaged with senior Indian and Pakistani officials, including Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Sharif, External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, and National Security Advisors Ajit Doval and Asim Malik. I am pleased to announce the Governments of India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and to start talks on a broad set of issues at a neutral site. We commend Prime Ministers Modi and Sharif on their wisdom, prudence, and statesmanship in choosing the path of peace.

Every time India bleeds, the world is silent. But the moment we fight back? Suddenly, we’re the aggressors. They don’t want peace — They want India weak and Hindus ashamed of their strength.
