A man in his 50s experienced left sided tongue paralysis along with dysphonia and dysphagia on awakening in the intensive care unit after a mixed overdose. He required respiratory support and needed intubation on 4 separate occasions, including once after self-extubating. (1/3)

Danish population-based study of 429,612 first-time triptan users found higher relative risk of stroke (OR 3.2) and MI (OR 3.2). Absolute risk was low (only 0.003%/0.004% of users had a stroke/MI) and limited to high CVD risk profile people. ja.ma/3OyV0Bz #NeuroTwitter
