If you’re a wrestler that gets offered big money in WWE, you have to be cognizant of the fact that unless you get over as a top talent and/or big merch seller, WWE is gonna try to get out of that deal as soon as possible. Punk is one of the greatest promos ever, but he got obliterated v Kingston, probably lost out to MJF, and when Hangman said something else that hit home, he couldn’t take it anymore Give him Seth, Roman etc… people who can’t compete with him on the mic, people he can dog walk who won’t upset him
