The problem with this theory is that it's entirely contigent on Iran squandering the opportunity to play along and collect hundreds of billions of dollars in the process, in what otherwise can only be described as a total and complete US capitulation to every one of their demands.
Had they have been more willing to play the long game, Trump would have been all too willing to let them get paid off and wash his hands of the situation, kicking the can down the road for some other president to deal with later once they've gone nuclear and turbocharged their proxies with hoards of cash courtesy of the MOU.
That's not 5-D chess, that's Iran fumbling the bag and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
The fact that Trump was all too willing to agree to the capitulation of paying them off is horrifying. In fact, it was evidently his first choice.

Very early on, right after the MoU dropped, I came across a post from some random account here on X.
The guy basically laid out that Trump knows damn well this deal is going to fail, and that’s exactly why he put JD Vance out front to pitch and defend it so aggressively.
The idea was that once it collapses, Trump can keep rolling with the military campaign, but now no one can credibly say he didn’t give diplomacy a shot. Meanwhile, that faction of the party gets humbled and has to fall in line, with the blame landing squarely on them.
If that was the play… man, it worked perfectly. Well played.

This whole “no sex before marriage” rule needs to be abolished completely. How are you supposed to know if the person you’re marrying is sexually compatible with you? How do you know if they are sexually functional or fertile if you’ve never been intimate? You can fall madly in love, get married, and later discover the bedroom is completely dead or one of you cannot have children. That’s a disaster waiting to happen. In fact, I believe marriage should only happen after you’ve already had at least one child together. That way, you’ve tested sexual compatibility, proven fertility, and seen how you both handle real responsibility as a team before signing the legal papers. Blind marriage in this era is pure gambling. People shouldn't committ for life without knowing the most important aspects. People should test the waters properly before you locking themselves in.
