Tinubu spoke at Eagle Square and the fact-checkers went to work immediately. State allocations tripled? Mostly true. But tripled naira allocations during hyperinflation is not prosperity. It is inflation wearing a bigger number. Subsidy removal stabilised the economy? Debatable. Tell that to the man spending ₦300,000 on fuel weekly and the family eating once a day. Nigeria ranks second in renewable energy behind India? Completely false. Not even close. China, USA, and Brazil would like a word. APC remains intact? True. But a party that stays together to share power while Nigerians suffer is not a success story. It is a coalition of interests protecting itself. Laser-focused on results? The lights are still off. The soldiers are still dying. The fuel is still ₦1,450. A convention is not governance. A speech is not delivery. Eagle Square looked full. Nigeria still feels empty. 👀 Nigeria observers

So many people are looking for money to eat. Tomorrow will take care of itself but "baba, anything make I take chop" is the norm now. Poverty is humbling. I don't think you people understand the level of poverty

My Dad traveled to Abia for a wedding and he was lamenting seriously when he came back😂 he said he didn’t use his power bank for once throughout his stay there. He slept with light and woke up with light. My Dad was really thinking about relocating to Abia state coz of light😂

Investing in in Education and Human Capital On Thursday, May 26th, I visited the College of Nursing Sciences in Mbano, Imo State, and was warmly received by the Provost, staff, and students. I am deeply grateful for their kind words regarding my earlier modest support of ₦10 million, which the school used for the procurement of solar power and a transformer. I also made an additional donation of ₦10 million to support ongoing developments at the institution. It is always encouraging to see institutions striving to improve learning conditions despite obvious challenges. I am convinced that investing in education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure is the surest path to sustainable national development. These should not be seen as expenses, but rather as essential investments in our collective future. We must move from consumption to production by deliberately supporting institutions that build human capital and empower our young people with the skills needed to drive progress. I encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their studies, reminding them that they are at the heart of the Nigeria we must build—one anchored in competence, compassion, character, and productivity. By investing in our youth in a sustainable and productive manner, a new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
