Exit Strategy Productions makes animated films and builds the technology to do it without sacrificing craft. We’re an indie animation studio with a dual focus: developing original productions and creating the tools that make those productions possible — then releasing those tools so other independent animators can use them too. Our active productions include The Gretas, a Scandinavian crime drama following two teenage girls in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, and SO DAMN TUFF, a multi-format project spanning an animated series, a novel, and an AI influencer property rooted in the underground culture of 2008-era Philadelphia and New York. Both projects are built on a pipeline we’re developing ourselves — because the tools indie animators need either don’t exist yet, or don’t talk to each other the way they should. unpopular opinion: automation "experts" are the new travel agents. remember travel agents? they charged you money to book flights you could book yourself. then Expedia happened. now automation consultants charge $15K to connect apps you can connect yourself. they just pray you don't realize: → the tools are free → the knowledge is free → the AI builds it for you now every workflow they sell? describable in one sentence. buildable in under 5 minutes. deployable without writing code. "scrape my competitors' pricing daily and alert me when they drop below mine" that's not a $8K retainer. that's a tuesday afternoon. the consultants will quote tweet this calling me an idiot. they'll say "enterprise complexity" and "custom requirements" and other words that mean nothing. but they won't show you their actual builds. because you'd see it's the same nodes. same connections. same shit you can do yourself. the travel agents said the same thing.
