The balancer hack makes me think EVM is just poorly built, there are op codes (Bybit hack) in the virtual machine that no one including top security professionals understand, very turned off from building on EVM because if Balancer can get hacked no one is safe

@Silnt_majrty Loaded ones get much of their value from the BTC inside, so value will depend on the Bitcoin price which may well keep increasing. I do see that a few traditional auction houses like Stacks Bowers & Heritage are bringing these to traditional coin collectors which is bullish.

@eahonen Wow, That's impressive. I just started collecting a physical bitcoins and other's. I cannot afford the loaded ones at the moment. They seem to be more expensive as time goes on. Where do you see this hobby going in the future? I'm worried I won't be able to afford it no longer.

Ok this is freaking cool. I used @grok to write the code for this sculpture. Still waiting on hardware and lights, but all it took was a little troubleshooting and the code verifies. Assuming it works as intended, this sculpture will: -Pulse every time a block is found -Adjust brightness based on TX volume -2 pulses on ±5% hashrate change -3 quick flashes when the mempool is filling up -5 slow fades for a difficulty adjustment And I've modified the WifiManager portal so it has a more "Bitcoin" aesthetic and explanations of the lighting effects. I'll obviously test it and iterate a bit, but I'm pretty excited. Oh and I guess I have to finish carving and polishing the stone too....

@lukewestbooks @srondecker @blind_via @BrianMtetezi @seanmdav Pledges are something that are not supposed to be broken, by definition. If your attitude reflects that of many Americans, it indicates that other nations cannot reasonably rely on pledges made by American leaders. This weakens America.

That doesn't rise to the level of risking nuclear war, for me. Sorry. Maybe it does for you but I will have no part of that. The US, due to the nature of our system, has been breaking pledges with other nations for a long, long time. I don't see why *THIS* pledge is the one worth risking WW3. I need better than that.
