After Katara saved Aang with the spirit water from the North pole, I saw her earnest desire to protect Aang both in the season 3 of ATLA and Legend of Aang against Tagah. When Zuko showed up again to join team Avatar and teach aang firebending, Katara wasn't buying his excuses because she was the first person to trust Zuko back in Ba Sing se at the Tunnel, until he turned around & fought against her and aang when Azula showed up. Then he comes again claiming he had changed and he's now a good guy?? If didn't blame Katara for not believing him. Aang was the world's last hope of restoring balance to the world. But she forgave him completely after Zuko helped her find the Southern Raider who took her mother from her. How about Tagah?? Katara saw through him within minutes. She figured he is a bad influence to Aang and Katara's intuition is accurate. When Tagah saw that Katara had figured him out, he attacked her first. Katara is more like a guardian angel to Aang in my own opinion. This is how relationship should be.

As i keep saying. If the Avatar State feels different, that’s intentional, not a downgrade. In Aang’s era, it looks terrifying because he can’t control it 💀 It’s a last-resort survival mechanism that overrides him, which is why it feels explosive and chaotic. By Korra’s time, the point is that she learns control earlier, so it’s used deliberately instead of erupting. That doesn’t make it child’s play, it just means it’s not randomly nuking everything around her. Controlled power will always look less dramatic than uncontrolled power. Thats just presentation. And the show goes out of its way to prove it’s not a free win anyway. She gets neutralized by Amon, matched by Unalaq, broken by Zaheer, and pushed by Kuvira. If it was really child’s play, those fights wouldn’t even exist. Also funny bringing up the upcoming Aang era stuff like it proves anything, if anything, that just reinforces that different Avatars use the same power differently depending on their journey. That’s been the point since day one. People just seem to miss this

Councilman Tenzin led the New Air Namads into a new era in Seaso 4. They got new combat gear and well refined in their craft. His daughter Jinora became the New Air bending master. Aang's Legacy is more than words could say. Councilman Tenzin kept his father's legacy. For Zuko, he reflected on all that had happened in his ancestry and corrects them. He birth FireLord Azumi and protected her with his life. His daughter who is well aware of her father's history, ensured she doesn't allow the Firenation meddle in wars. This was why she refused her troops from attacking Kuvira because Kuvira's dictatorship doesn't comes into the borders of the Firenation. Even Azumi's son, the grandson of Zuko, General Iroh of the United forces kept their family legacy and he's also a formidable skilled firebender. He reminds me of Prince Zuko in his prime. In conclusion, both Aang and Zuko raised their family to abstain from war and promote peace amongst the 4 nations.
