@clarityysix @Rebel_Ashe You’re right. The number refers to the clock cycle for the CPU, so the faster it’ll be able to compute input/output. Ping also plays a factor but that’s latency of your connection, not the performance of the server itself.

@Rebel_Ashe Bigger number better, how quickly the game reads what you do and relays it to other players and vice versa, ping is also a factor obviously but afik tick rate is a big factor aswell

@MarathonTheGame I was psyched to play the new update but my game crashes every time I load into a game. I’ve tried all the basic troubleshooting steps but I’m thinking it’s a server issue. I can’t be too sure since I don’t get any error code.

@MarathonDevTeam any server issues after the update? right now i can't solo queue on outpost. restarted pc and reinstalled game and keep crashing. i also tried a new game.

Cryo Archive is now patched into the game but is inaccessible while the community finishes unlocking it.
When the time comes, the requirements are:

I'm fascinated by this level of existential crisis developers seem to be going through.
The uncomfortable truth is nobody needs you to be an artisan coder.
Nobody cares about how you coded your app, or whether you feel an emotional attachment to your craft.
You were always code monkey with a high enough salary to believe that your individualist craftsmanship matters to anyone.
It doesn't matter to anyone but you. Not your employer, not your customer. Nobody cares about how you made the product. Nobody cares about your attachment to your process.
You're experiencing the same as countless other artisans have experienced in the last century.
