A4: I think a child who doesn't have a good emotional support system will be more affected than others - this has made me a lot more patient and understanding #EBEdchat

@mathmrsdeluca A2 I would love a built in flex/reflective/enrichment pd for clubs or stuggling students to meet. So much of my stress comes from not fitting it all into a day. #EBedchat

Off to a great start! Our health as educators is just as important as the health of our students. By nature teachers support, nurture, and care for students, but not necessarily themselves. What can your school/district do to help your health and build resilience? #EBEdchat #SEL

A6: how appropriate being that my students are taking their quarterly tomorrow! They will enter the room with a paper on their desk stating,”you got this smartie pants” and some smarties to enjoy during the exam! Help with their confidence! #EBedchat

I will definitely remember to choose my battles tomorrow and that any victory, no matter how big or small, is a good one #ebedchat

A4: l let kids know they can always charge their phone in my room. I told them, I’m a mom, and I know your mom wants to be able to reach you, so charge it. No need to ask me every day. Feel comfortable plugging it in whenever you need #ebedchat

I don't want this to end, but time is almost up! One last thing I want us all remember is that "Nothing changes if nothing changes" #ebedchat

Q5: An amazing way to support staff is to show them how important they are. At Chittick we are have one day a month where staff in the school bring in snacks based on a theme for the month. This is something fun that people can look forward to! 🧁🍰🥧=😃 #ebEDchat

I’ve seen coworkers give students inspirational messages. Many teachers also take time after school to watch their students play on their sports teams, or see the musical concerts, or play. #ebedchat
