@TomLeonard28 The State of Michigan gives far less money to its flagship university than almost any other state. Moreover, if you take away the higher tuition paid by out of state and international students, tuition for Michigan residents would be unaffordable.

The University of Michigan says it exists to ‘serve the people of Michigan.’
That’s rich when nearly half your students are international or out-of-state.
Time to fix it. Take Michigan tax dollars? Then 80% of your seats go to Michigan students. It’s time to put Michigan students first. Period.
Who’s with me?
Thank you, @Schostak4Regent for the information! You’ll make an incredible regent.

@mitchellvii I’m pretty sure the majority of people who voted in the 2016 and 2024 presidential elections were too stupid to choose our nation’s leaders.

@CoachForGov Glad you’re focused on the important issues. LOL.

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports.
My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer.
After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year.
This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.

Exclusive: @CoachForGov introduces ‘Student Athlete Act Of 2026’ aimed at curtailing transfer portal chaos. It give athletes five years to play five seasons, while also penalizing a player 1 year for transferring a second time, he tells @OutKickHotMic outkick.com/sports/tommy-t…

@itsCorasmith If “Obama” is a pseudonym for “racism,” I agree.

@SenatorCollins You left out the part where the Dems tried to separately fund the TSA and the Republicans refused to vote for it. So who is holding the traveling public hostage?
English

The Democrats’ decision to shut down the Department of Homeland Security has caused chaos at our airports, delayed assistance to communities affected by disasters, and forced thousands of frontline employees to work without any guarantee of when they will be paid. The United States is less safe because the Democrats chose to walk away from the bipartisan DHS funding bill and have blocked repeated Republican efforts to pass a short-term funding patch to prevent disruptions while negotiations continue.
The White House made a good-faith offer last month that builds on the reforms included in the bipartisan funding bill negotiated earlier this year, with new safeguards to protect both the American public and law enforcement and increased oversight. Democrats waited 18 days to respond. In that time, we saw violent attacks at Old Dominion University and the Temple Israel Synagogue in Michigan and a massive cyber attack on the Stryker Corporation. It is time for Democrats to get serious and work with us in earnest to govern responsibly.

@ScottHughesCBB You have to be joking! You were concerned about “on court antics” and you voted for Jeremy Fears?
English

NOTE: I felt as though Michigan’s Yaxel Lendeborg was a worthy candidate for this team based on his on-court play this year. However, his off the court antics and poor academic history led me to remove him from consideration.

I am proud to announce that I have submitted my AP All-American ballot for the 11th year in a row. My 2025-26 First Team… Jeremy Fears, Michigan State Keaton Wagler, Illinois Darryn Peterson, Kansas AJ Dybantsa, BYU Cameron Boozer, Duke

@ScottHughesCBB You know nothing Scott Hughes. Where is Yaxel Lendeborg?
