A small bandaid won’t be enough to fix this. The shift towards electric with 50/50 hybrids is a train wreck and it’s doing nothing to reduce global carbon emissions and global warming. Hypothetically, if F1 brought back V10 100% gas combustion engines instead of switching to all-electric cars, the net impact on global carbon emissions would be inconsequential relative to the 1 billion motor vehicles on the road every day and the tens of thousands of aircraft flying every day. And please don’t try to tell me that F1 being a role model will encourage fans to run out and buy electric or hybrid vehicles. If anything, watching F1 cars race under these new regulations will make fans less likely to buy a hybrid and all-electric vehicle. These new regulations are achieving nothing but virtue signaling to the world that F1 is green.

This is not a war. Trump never said that he would lead us to complete isolationism where we would never use our military to project American power and further U.S. interests. What he said was that he won’t lead us into any more draw out forever wars and he hasn’t. Bombing the shit out of Iran for a few weeks and capturing the President of Venezuela are not wars. Trump will not let us get drawn into another Iraq or Afghanistan. He is destroying the Iranian regime and their ability to produce a nuclear weapon as well as their ballistic missiles production facilities by using overwhelming air power. He will never put boots on the ground.

Bolton says Trump has no strategy. Chatham House says regime change can't be done from the air. Then Iran called Washington — not London — and Trump picked up. The regime changers are outside the room and can't even find the door.
