Thinking eventually we will pivot into AI meta, completely, I do think that earlier today proved some sort of appetite for AI. But many strides to go before we see more, and as such, I've punted some capital at older coins - but a lot of the meta will rely on new ones. Do note: We are approaching a different period of time compared to winter '24 and people are less euphoric to just punt at anything that seems AI related. Will need to look for coins much bigger than just some backrooms and such, but a lot more flesh. Maybe we will see that flesh, or maybe not, but it's smarter imo to risk at any potential before all the threads come out on twitter.

Keeping short as I am ill again. Eth good, btc ok, most everything else bad. CPI this week will be nothing of importance unless estimates way off. Trump admin wants to short term pump markets in exchange for future pain. Play the game with that in mind. Approaching cycle wide resistance, will let people know when we are there and I’ll mechanically derisk and likely begin to build my sol short to hedge my eth long there. Goal is to be fully short once music stops but easier said than done. Bubble? Probably. Bubble popping? Don’t think so. Be a bull for now. Want to long dips if they come, if not holding lot of eth. Hated rally in equities. Tom Lee is right, people are sidelined and scared to buy, higher. If eth sends with out dragging up btc its time to get very defensive. Still hate sol, still don’t like any other alts for my liquidity requirements. Follow the money, once treasury company flywheel ends it’s going to send shit into a catastrophic bleed, but it won’t happen for months. Monitor these dat’s Good luck! There is benefit to chasing these smaller, asymmetric wins though. Hardly anyone takes the effort (see: boop) and the catch-up time is abysmal compared to EVM. Strange side thought, but something to think about :)

I do enjoy the occasional launchpad release here and there. Orca seems to be teasing something. But these are all froth if they do not throw money to otherwise support their own ecosystem. At best, they are extremely easy bets for those sharper on-chain and can just ask AI to create a script if they don't want to make their own. At worst, you are just free liquidity for someone better at retrieval than you.

Bought TGE, sold it immediately, but think I panicked in execution of my shorts for the most part. Glad to have played it in a way where I am 1. not delusional about the overall interest in pumpfun 2. not too euphoric about their goals and their miss-matched public effort GP and especially BONK eco, I definitely should have punted more at during TGE. Often time we hear of taking these bets in groups but rarely or never act on the execution. Should be a lesson in itself for me to act rather than to wait for it to become more clearer The climate for trading is changing and I believe we are reaching the apex for optimizations onchain (think: axiom, photon, bloom, etc) but not changing in the way ETH had a pivot from NFTs to shitcoins. Not yet, anyway. But it is clear that Bonk and it's eco right now are winning in ways that are similar to Opensea vs. MagicEden. Best to ride the outcome for now (obvious) until there is a drastic change either for Pump, or Bonk I am optimistic about the future and do not think Pump are going to make any relevant strides that recover market share due to the nature of their team
