You’ve never been in the military and you can absolutely choose not follow immoral orders. Conscientious Objector status.
You must file an application (specifically DD Form 1494) for discharge or assignment to non-combatant duties. This involves interviews with a chaplain, a psychiatrist, and a commanding officer. Most people who go this route retain their benefits. There are 501c3s that assist with this, armchair warrior.
