base isn’t the place to build communities.
I like base a lot, and tried to push it tens of times. everytime we expect something from base or coinbase teams, they’ll fuck up and I’ll roundtrip my time and investments
a whole community of 3,500+ people gathered around a movement, and donated over $700,000 to @coinbase’s @standwithcrypto
almost everyone from base saw it. I made sure that happened by reaching out to them 1 by 1. their reply: “it’s doing well without us”
also, the @standwithcrypto team, despite confirming the $700,000+ donation was successful, they still ignored the community. they played pingpong with us, and randomly left the table, leaving us on read once and again (@512mace)
meanwhile, @jessepollak is reposting 100k mcap coins, and posting CAs that die after 5 minutes, complete pump and dumps. he’s even shilling solana coins lower than huge base coins
but they will ignore huge movements and communities, specially this one, that donated $700,000 to a coinbase movement, and that trended #1 everywhere in @base for days
I will still trade there, as I’ll always follow the trends, but my trust and overall trust in @base team is fading
well, they got $700,000 donations from $SWC community, and didn’t even say thank you, that shows a lot
