Just let Opus go for over an hour on a new feature. When it was done, I asked how I can test it. 20 minutes later, it realized I can't test it because it did the whole thing entirely wrong. Idk how you guys use this model every day for real work 🙃

$19,300,000/month This app is printing money in Asia: - Short episode series (90s) - Vertical format - Ultra addictive stories - Unknown actors = lower costs - Hooks like “my boyfriend cheated on me with my sister” - Pay to unlock episodes who’s building this in USA & Europe?

Turo was such a promising product at one point. The cost, quality, and convenience was all superior to trad rental cars. Now it's completely flipped. There's no longer a cost advantage with all the extra fees & insurance. Most cars are old now or in terrible condition. And regulations destroyed the convenience factor. I'm not gonna take an Uber from the airport to pick up a car, especially when I have small kids who need car seats. Too bad.

When everyone has 100 marketing agents, output goes way up. Performance goes way down. The cost of mediocre distribution goes to zero and it becomes worthless. The its a war. More agents, better agents, faster agents. A commodity race. Channels will reprice like they always do and the cost for attention will go way up. That favors whoever has the biggest budget and the best talent. It always does. So the real question becomes: what doesn't scale with agents? Owned distribution channels. Accumulate trust assets now while they're still cheap. Soon you'll be priced out of every channel that still works. The window is open. It won't be much longer.

Anyone can ship an app today. Distribution is the bottleneck. What does this look like in 12 months when everyone has 100 marketing agents running ads, writing content, building links, making videos?

“sir they’ve paid $100 for the Apple Developer account” “good. wait 2 days to confirm their account then reject the app 10 times over the next 20 days. if they make it through take a 30% cut of the revenue and pay them out 2 months later. ban them if they try using Stripe”

Prompt engineering got way more hype than it deserved. Turns out, smooth brain prompts are the move. Just talk to AI like a normal human and it actually works better.

I admit, gpt 5.4 is pretty dang good. just gave it a pretty complex spec I've been sitting on for a few weeks, smooth brained a couple prompts, and it one shotted the damn thing in 20 mins. Still highly prefer the claude code workflow tho. Thinking opus 4.6 as the orchestrator and gpt 5.4 as the coder might be the call.

Once you free your mind about the concept of a company and what it means to build a company "the right way", you can do whatever you want. So nobody told me what to build and there was no preconception of what to build.
