It's still so, so cool that I can control all of my dev boxes through T3 Code. I barely open the desktop app anymore, I just use the site and the app. Working on 3 projects with 2 harnesses across 4 dev machines, all from one (open source) interface 🫡

@davis7 Performance isn’t where it should be on T3 Code web (I have spent the last 2 days fixing it)

Realized over the last month that for coding agent "apps" (like codex desktop app) Web app > real desktop app I use the t3 code web app constantly, I never touch the desktop app 1) It's more convenient to just open it in the browser, I'm always in there anyway 2) I can host it on whatever machine I want, I run mine on my linux box and access it over tailscale 3) It's way easier to make changes/fork it since u just need to deal with a website instead of building and managing a real desktop binary on a bunch of platforms 4) Performance is incredible since it's now just a presentation layer over a heavy server running elsewhere (Linux box) 5) Since it's not actually running on my machine, I can close the tab or my laptop whenever and nothing stops running. It also means my laptop resources aren't getting eaten by it Codex desktop app still makes sense as a desktop app and I use it a ton, but that's pretty much entirely because of computer use
