The public has been trained to think access means ownership. That is the problem. Indigenous ceremonial responsibility is not “race-based exclusion.” It is jurisdiction and relationship to place. BC parks were built over Indigenous lands, not outside them.
Caroline Elliott@NVanCaroline

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has sent a legal letter to the BC Government calling for the cancellation of planned public closures at Joffre Lakes. It states that reserving access to the park exclusively for particular groups based on race or ethnic origin violates sections 6 & 15(1) of the Charter (mobility & equality rights). As someone who has been fighting the BC govt on this issue for years, I applaud @JCCFCanada. BC’s beautiful provincial parks belong to ALL British Columbians. jccf.ca/race-based-clo…

ABSOLUTE INSANITY The Liberals claim their affordability plan is working. Canadians are asking strangers on GoFundMe for help buying food. Food bank usage is exploding. Families are one emergency away from financial disaster. Yet the govt keeps telling us everything is GREAT Who are they talking to?

Sunny in Ottawa while the Liberals ram through C-9, C-22, and C-34 in the same week? That’s not coincidence, this is a coordinated assault on our freedoms dressed up as “safety” and “combatting hate.” These clowns don’t care about kids or real crime. They care about power. Broaden “hate” so they can label dissent as criminal. Give police easier “lawful access” to your data with less oversight. Then hand a new government commission the keys to decide what’s “harmful” online and force platforms to comply or else. Pure evil. Canadians better wake up fast. This isn’t democracy. It’s totalitarianism sold as progress.
Roman Baber@Roman_Baber

It's sunny in Ottawa, but one of the darkest weeks for our democracy. The Liberals are ramming through, C-9 (hate), C-22 (lawful access) and C-34 (digital safety). Give me a few minutes to explain. ⬇️

🚨 Hot mic. G7. Carney to Trump. Last week: Joly in Beijing encouraging Chinese EV manufacturing. This week: Carney privately reassuring Trump Chinese EVs are capped. Public position: China partnership. 🇨🇳 Private position: Don’t worry Donald. 🇺🇸 He’s telling China one thing. Telling Trump another. Telling Canadians a third. A Prime Minister who needs a hot mic to tell the truth is not governing Canada. He’s performing for every room except ours. Video: @ryangerritsen 🇨🇦 #CdnPoli #Carney #G7 #China #Trump

Oops! "The federal government has suddenly suspended a number of Canadian citizenship certificates issued to people around the world who became eligible for citizenship late last year. In a notice emailed Saturday to an unknown number of people who successfully applied for and obtained citizenship certificates based on having a Canadian ancestor, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada ordered them to return their certificates pending a review of their files. "The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I have information in my possession that indicates that you may not be entitled to hold a Canadian certificate of citizenship," reads the notice signed Peggy Sun, registrar of Canadian citizenship."

It's not about the children. It never was. History shows that totalitarianism always masks itself in some higher virtue because it's more difficult to take people's freedom away through force. It's much easier if they hand it over voluntarily.

Thousands of Canadian jobs gone as major retailers 🛍️ close their doors ~ this doesn’t even account for small biz. Don’t let anyone tell you that things are ok cause they’re not. ⬇️ Notable closures include:  Warehouse One and Bootlegger:Parent company Comark Holdings entered creditor protection (CCAA) to conduct an orderly wind-down of operations across all Warehouse One and Bootlegger locations.  Toys “R” Us Canada: The toy retailer downsized significantly, closing at least 38 stores and putting several additional locations up for sale.
Eddie Bauer: Following a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, Catalyst Brands (the licensee operating Eddie Bauer's brick-and-mortar stores) announced plans to close its remaining mall and outlet shops across Canada, shifting entirely to online sales.  7-Eleven: The convenience chain announced plans to close hundreds of underperforming locations across the US and Canada.  Canadian Tire / Atmosphere: Canadian Tire announced it will close 17 "uncompetitive" Atmosphere outdoor apparel stores, with 14 of these locations to be absorbed and relocated into existing SportChek stores.
Recent 2025 Departures: Major shutdowns that occurred in 2025 include the Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC), Saks Fifth Avenue, the Canadian fashion chain Frank And Oak, Peevy Mart, and the UK-based apparel retailer FatFace.

Another day in the collapsing Canadian trucking industry. This is what ‘professional’ driving standards look like in Canada, 2026. A 52 year old truck driver from Vancouver drove the wrong way on a major Vancouver Island highway for nearly 7 kilometers at 4:40am. Cops ruled out drugs and alcohol — it was just ‘driver confusion.’ Tickets. Towed. Released. Thankfully, no one was injured. Canada’s roads are becoming a third world demolition derby where the outcome is often death. Not good. Commercial driving inspector Ron Basi says, “It’s gaps in the trucking system that’s likely to blame. It’s time for national trucking standards and more oversight like mandatory annual training needed to keep your commercial license.”

@MarkJCarney Yeah we will see won’t we? 😒 How about all the crimes being committed from people that aren’t white? How about the murderers and rapists and child molesters being protected rather than punished? We will be watching.

While Canadians are getting crushed by grocery bills, housing costs, and a government that can’t seem to “Build Canada” fast enough, Mark Carney is jetting off to Evian, France for the G7 Summit. Evian-les-Bains — a luxurious Alpine resort town on Lake Geneva. Think five-star hotels, private security, and zero prying eyes. The kind of place global elites love for “backslapping summits.” This isn’t some random photo-op. Carney has been openly pushing the idea that Canada should align with “like-minded middle powers” on trade, security, climate, and tech — reducing reliance on our biggest customer, the United States. He’s been saying versions of this since Davos. Now he’s taking it to the G7 stage in France, right after meetings with Macron on AI, critical minerals, and intelligence sharing. Taxpayers are footing the bill for the flights, the delegation, the security — the whole production. Meanwhile, the same guy who told us to “judge him by grocery store prices” still hasn’t laid out, in plain language, what this “new vision” actually means for regular Canadians. What exactly is our role in this “New World Order” he keeps hinting at? Because if it was something Canadians would cheer for, he’d be shouting it from the rooftops instead of negotiating it behind closed doors in five-star resorts. “Build Canada” was the slogan. When does the actual building start? Because right now it looks a lot like more globalist meetings, more debt, and more decisions made far away from the people paying for them. Time is running out — for Canada, and for this government. Watch the clip. Then tell me I’m wrong. 🎥 @BeautifulCana1 #cdnpoli #CarneyFail #G7 #CanadaFirst #BuildCanada
