@DamageJacque Oh my machine can’t handle 10 billion points. It’s just a safely high enough number that I don’t have to worry about it overlapping ever.

@Urzaz Exactly. The laziest way to merge two streams of geo where one has ids and the other needs them as well but they can’t overlap. There are better more exact ways to do this but sometimes you gotta just do the “Make them sit in opposite corners of the room” technique.

@feedback55 I don't really work with particles. Do you run into ID conflicts and this is the quick fix?

@feedback55 ended up making a preset that has a slider for how many billions you want to add to id 😂

@elrobles This is not a beginner course, but it is made to be friendly for those with some Houdini experience. Keyboard shortcuts are explained and there are chapter by chapter project files. But I’d recommend taking a beginner course first if you’ve never touched Houdini.
