@PeerIGN There are so many nice little design touches, and I'm sure we'll see more as it reveals itself. For example with the elevated colored "rail" they moved the lights to the side so you can see which player your controller is without flipping it around to the back.

@Urzaz Yeah, true -- but I appreciate that sort of thoughtful design. It teaches even the most mainstream consumer how this thing works without thinking about it.

The Switch 2 Joy-Cons obviously look really similar, but I love the visual story-telling Nintendo is doing with the color-coding on the system itself. At least for the launch unit, red means right and blue means left and it's very clear what goes where now.

@PeerIGN The magnets probably alleviate a lot of the rail issues so maybe they're throw the current color coding out the window as soon as they want something special.

@Urzaz That's the question. Will future special editions just replicate the color coding of the included Joy-Con? Will they always have a red and blue ring, regardless of JC body color? I'd imagine this is the introductory, launch console setup -- future editions will change it.

@nephyrus How can you hate indesign?? Unless you're using it for stuff other than editorial layouts, but in that case it's not id's fault.
