@sassal0x as the CEXs integrate sending funds within the platform, not the case with l2’s (its now bridging to l2’s are in CEXs). They are more prone to click phishing links, wait for few days to withdraw and just too many bridges out there.

People have been withdrawing funds from CEXs to different layer 1's for over a decade now with no issues But when it comes to doing this exact same thing with layer 2's, people think that it requires a masters degree in cryptography The mental gymnastics around this is insane

@adamscochran what is place to go for leverage being in US. Since none of the exchanges offer it. Coinbase offers leverage option trading but others need to be an accredited investor

FWIW - usually those days have 3%-4% pull backs from the high, and the largest dips have a 4%-5% red day. Back when I was a bit more of a leverage junky on Binance and FTX I'd move 25% to cash on the +10% days, to up my leverage any time we crossed a -4% red that I didn't think was a blow off. My rule of thumb, was I was only allowed to take leverage up two red days in a row, and then had to bank 50% of the net profits outside of collateral, as 50% cash, 50% spot. That's the core of the playbook that got me on the top PnL lists each time. But remember, things that work in the past may not work now - and you need to leave a strong buffer in leverage in case of cascade wicks cause you can easily get -10% - -30% draw downs (especially in alt markets) This isn't financial advice; and the only reason I pulled this off is because I'm much more conservative than most traders about how much leverage I took, and how much collateral I had spare to post if needed.

First +10% candle day for one of the majors in a long time. Usually gives some pull backs, but, never have we had a +10%+ day in isolation. The first one has always signaled more to come before a true blow off.

was driving down 95, terrible weather in a rental as my car is at the shop ABS brakes randomly failed. i didn’t even slam on, just tapped with normal driving spun around 3 times and miraculously did not hit anyone incredibly shook, but thankful i nor anyone else was hurt 🙏
