Early this morning, Donald Trump was declared the winner of the U.S. presidential election. Our commitment to building and amplifying movements for a more just and peaceful world continues.

Small comfort now, but vouchers went 0-3 on state ballots. 100’s of thousands of Trump voters voted against school vouchers. In KY, Trump won 65-35 but vouchers *lost* by the same margin—losing all 120 counties. In the reddest wave in decades, voters still rejected vouchers.

Pediatrician here. If a nice, older kid/teenager comes trick or treating at your place, give them a piece of candy WITHOUT giving them a hard time. In fact, give them 2. They chose this over other risky activities. Validate that. #Halloween

Love the "light triad" but you know me @gailcornwall -- I'm all for making it the "light quad" by adding the feeling of mattering that emanates from making a difference in the lives of other people, one individual at a time.

Research on the “light triad” finds that three things are strongly correlated with well-being: “believing in the fundamental goodness of humans, treating everyone with dignity and respect, and not using people for your own personal gain.” Let’s be better to feel better.
