I hope very much that Donald Trump does not decide to destroy the infrastructure of Iranian utilities. I cannot envisage it helping in any way. Firstly, if he thinks it will cow the regime into submission he’s almost certainly wrong. You have to understand your enemy and he doesn’t seem to at all. Second, wrecked infrastructure will only cause suffering for the civilian population, entrench long-term anti-US sentiment, and cost a fortune to rebuild. I see little to no benefit but a mass of negative consequences.

Historically Aqueedah didn't matter to senior Sheikhs and Ayatollahs. They would often meet to discuss issues like colonialism in the region and how they would deal with it.
