I'm also not a big fan of changing the name of "palliative care" to "supportive care".
When you say "palliative care" would scare the patient, I think who is scared is you, not the patient.
If you know what it really means, you can just explain that to patients.

This really makes me wonder whether it would be fair to call "regular" cardiology UNsupportive cardiology? I mean, if they get to change the name of our specialty it only seems fair that we get to change theirs? (kidding. mostly.) #Hapc #Palliativecare
