@LauradeBarra @MartinCostello my machine doesn't seem to work well with those pods... it has a sensor light when there is too much detergent and it is always on after using pods.

For four years I have resisted the urge to write about all the words my son gets wrong. Now, as I watch them disappear before my eyes, I can resist no further. On preserving pasgheti, chimleys, samgiches and gerbils, at all costs. theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2…

@iputahexonyou When I ask for help, I need someone to do the things my brain can’t do. When I need help cleaning the kitchen or my room, it’s not because I’m physically unable to do it, but I need someone to look at it and say “okay here’s what you’re going to do first.”

@Inferis @Finnattentive @ErynnBrook agreed. some workarounds...use a short cycle and use that time do another task. don't stop until cycle finished. cycle acts as your timer.
put in dryer at night so you can walk away from it and go to bed.

@Finnattentive @ErynnBrook For me, the problem with laundry is that it has too much friction: all of the steps along the way do not require immediate attention after they are done and as such are an excellent moment to stall the process.
