The off-season has only just started but I have the Pelicans as 14th out of 15th (sorry Kings), in their current state. To reach 10 is a big climb. To reach 7 even tougher.

The other things we know that is publicly available information 1) their roster is messy and they are close to the tax 2) they have limited tools outside trades to change things. Guys other teams want have high prices, guys they might want to trade no one wants. 3) won't pay tax
