I think Fears and Queen will take a jump from year 1 to year 2.
If they can somehow get a starting Center that can shoot and put him next to Zion, let’s roll. But they have to get more depth at the Center position

Griffin was bad too. He held onto players way too long, lied way too many times and lost multiple trades.
But as Jason says, he never made these little tactical errors that should be known automatically known being a front office member.

Some complained about Griff & some of the complaints were warranted. But this kind of stuff wouldn't happen & didn't happen... Details matter even if they appear to be small. As a fan I just want a educated and competent front office.

I just go back to this quote from Joe Dumars. In a respectful way he called the roster soft. I would think there has to be a move out there in which this Front Office makes. If not, this entire exit interview was a bunch of bullshit

Really good stuff here. In here the Pelicans were convinced DeAndre Jordan would accept an offer for a vet minimum elsewhere and so gave him two years. Important for the Pels to get this narrative out.
But remember, DJ was one of the first deals announced in free agency...
