I don’t think this person understands that McLaren in 2007 had a title worthy car that Hamilton had already done thousands of km of testing in prior to the season starting. It’s not comparable. Hamilton’s rookie season was a masterpiece but comparison to Oscar in today’s McLaren just doesn’t work. Piastri’s rookie season has been nothing short of incredible.
